The Labour Department of the Government of Puducherry issued an office order on 23rd April, 2024, announcing the launch of an online service for amending the Registration Certificate under the Building and Other Construction Workers Act.
The online service is facilitated through the Government of India’s web-based application ServicePlus portal, with the effective date of implementation being 27th March 2024.
The order specifies that applications for amending the Registration Certificate and the granting of the amended certificate will be exclusively conducted online through the ServicePlus portal.
