The central board of Indirect taxes has extended the last date of filing Annual goods and service Tax (GST) return to November 30, 2019 from August 31, 2019.
The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on August 26, 2019, has published the Central Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019, extending the due date for filing of Annual return or Reconciliation Statement for the Financial year (FY) 2017-18.
This extension has been provided as complaints of some glitches faced in filing the annual return were received. Therefore, CBIC has extended the last date for furnishing of annual return in the Form GSTR-9/ Form GSTR-9A and reconciliation statement in the Form GSTR-9C for the financial year 2017-18 from 31st August, 2019 to 30th November, 2019.
