The Ministry of Labour and Employment in its notification dated 19th June 2020 has extended the public utility service status to services engaged in the Uranium Industry for the purpose of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.
The Ministry has earlier granted an extension to the uranium industry for a period of six months, starting from 27th November 2019. This has now been extended for another six months with effect from 19th June 2020.
