The Labour and Employment Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu vide Gazette Notification dated 11th December 2019, has issued modified minimum wages for Employees in the chemical industry. The schedule dealing with minimum wages of employees in chemical industry in amended.
Increased minimum wages is prescribed for employees in the administrative, technical and safety departments as well as staff in the workers category.
The Notification shall come into force on 11th December 2019.
