The following establishments are required to make online contributions to the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund:
- Factories
- Plantations
- Workshops
- Motor Omnibus Services
- Rental Service Establishments
- Establishments with 20 workers without power under the purview of the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishment Act 1961
- Organizations registered under the Karnataka Society Registration Act 1960
- Commercial/ITBT establishments employing more than 50 workers
- Charitable trusts and organizations registered under the above-mentioned Acts
Contribution Details:
- Employee Contribution: Rs 20 per employee
- Employer Contribution: Rs 40 per employee
- Total Contribution per Employee: Rs 60

Deadline for Payment:
- The last date for the payment of contributions for the calendar year 2024 is January 15, 2025.
Penalties for Delay:
- Penal Interest will be charged for delayed payments at the rate of:
- 12% per annum for the first 3 months

- Inspections by the Welfare Commissioner and Labour Department officers will be carried out, and legal proceedings will be initiated for non-payment of contributions.
