Karnataka Government Extends Deadline for Filing FORM GSTR-8 for December 2024

The Government of Karnataka on January 13th 2025 has announced an extension for filing the statement containing details of outward supplies of goods or services effected through an e-commerce operator. The statement, required to be submitted in FORM GSTR-8, is for the month of December 2024.

  • Extended Deadline: The last date for submitting FORM GSTR-8 for December 2024 has been extended to January 12, 2025.
  • Legal Basis: The extension has been granted under the powers conferred by the first proviso to sub-section (4) of section 52, read with section 168 of the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following the recommendations of the GST Council.
