J&K Announces Public Holidays for 2025 Under the Negotiable Instruments Act

The Government of Jammu and Kashmir on December 29th 2024, has officially announced the list of Public Holidays for the calendar year 2025. These holidays are declared in accordance with the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, which empowers the government to designate specific days as holidays for public and commercial purposes.
