The Ministry of Labour and Employment in its notification dated 19th June 2020 has declared that services engaged in the Iron and Steel industry, which is covered under item 7 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 shall be public utility services for next six months, starting from 19th June 2020.
