The Pharmacy Council of India vide circular dated 27 January, 2021 has clarified that institutions of medical education shall not take admissions to pharmacy courses without prior approval of Pharmacy Council of India. The Honourable Supreme Court vide Judgement dated 05.03.2020 has upheld that Pharmacy act and norms and regulations set by Pharmacy Council of India shall prevail in the field of Pharmacy education.
The institutions of medical education shall not take admissions to pharmacy courses without prior approval of Pharmacy Council of India and are strictly advised to follow Pharmacy act and norms and regulations set by Pharmacy Council of India.
