The Securities and Exchange Board of India vide its notification dated 22nd June 2020 has allowed InvITs and REITs to conduct meetings of unitholders through video conferencing and other audio-visual means.
The facility of video conferencing (VC) and other audio-visual means (OAVM) shall be available for the annual meeting of unitholders to be conducted during the calendar year 2020 and for meetings, other than annual meeting of unitholders, the facility for conducting a meeting of unitholders through VC or OAVM shall be available up to September 30, 2020.
