The Delhi Pollution Control Committee in its Circular dated 4th May 2020 has directed industries to apply online using common application form of Municipal corporations of Delhi for obtaining construction permits for buildings before setting up industries.
The Common application form also includes an application for obtaining consent to establish required under Air(Prevention and pollution control) Act 1981, and Water (Prevention and Pollution Control) Act 1974.
Since the majority of industries that are being set up in NCT-Delhi are of white category (non-polluting in nature) and the nature of activities do change frequently depends on the demand of the market, the white category industries are required to obtain an acknowledgment directly from DPCC before establishing and operating unit.
