The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has issued an urgent and immediate general notice to the public emphatically rebutting fake notifications issued in its name. This notice was issued on 30th October, 2023.
The INC has stated that it has recently been inundated with inquiries concerning the authenticity of notification dated 28.10.2023, which has been widely circulated on various social media platforms. This so-called notification, purportedly under the letterhead of INC and bearing the signature of the Secretary of INC, has created rumors about an extension of the last date for admissions to November 7, 2023.
In response to these inquiries, the INC has categorically stated that Notification 13 of 2023, dated October 28, 2023, concerning the extension of admission deadlines, is a fake and fabricated document, with a forged signature. The Council affirms that no such notification has been issued by them.
All parties concerned are strongly advised to disregard the aforementioned fake and fabricated notification and to refrain from sharing or giving credence to it on social media or other platforms. The dissemination of false information can lead to confusion and disrupt the admission process.
The INC is now actively considering taking appropriate legal action to identify and prosecute those responsible for circulating the fake notification.
