IFSCA Banking Handbook GEN Directions v5.0

International Financial Services Centres Authority has issued the IFSCA Banking Handbook GEN Directions v5.0. The IFSCA Banking Handbook (‘Handbook’) contains the directions of the Authority to the Banking Units (BUs) operating as branch of a Banking Company (also referred to as ‘parent bank’ in the IFSCA Banking Regulations).

With effect from the date of this circular the applicable Banking Handbooks are:

1. General (GEN) directions v 5.0
2. Conduct of Business (COB) directions v 6.0
3. Prudential Directions (PRU) directions v 5.0

The IFSCA Banking Handbook consists of the following three components –

1. General directions (GEN)
2. Conduct of Business directions (COB)
3. Prudential directions (PRU)
