The Government of Himachal Pradesh issued a notification on 04 July, 2023 further amending Himachal Pradesh Town and Country Planning Rules, 2014. This amendment revises the fee structure applicable to habitable attics within the state.
The following fee rates are applicable for residential use:
- For an area projection of up to 40 square meters, a fee of Rs. 50,000 will be levied.
- For an area projection ranging from 40 to 60 square meters, a fee of Rs. 75,000 will be levied.
- For an area projection ranging from 60 to 100 square meters, a fee of Rs. 1,00,000 will be levied.
- For an area projection exceeding 100 square meters, a fee of Rs. 1000 per square meter will be charged.
