The Haryana Government has published the draft Haryana Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2021 on 2nd March, 2021. The Haryana Government has noticed that certain difficulties are being faced in giving effect to the saved actions under the principal act because they require certain amendments or modifications in the repealed Acts.
In order to empower the State Government to amend or modify the acts which have been repealed, the bill allows the State Government to issue Removal of Difficulty Orders with retrospective effect.
