“Gujarat Takes the Lead: Chief Minister Partners with World Bank and Education Ministers for Global Progress”

Chief Minister of Gujarat, convened a meeting in Gandhinagar with the World Bank team, education ministers from over 13 countries, and representatives from the education sector visiting Gujarat. During the meeting, the CM described the experience as very heartening. He presented comprehensive insights into Gujarat’s education transformation over the last two decades, inspired by Prime Minister, including the ambitious projects ‘Mission Schools of Excellence’ and ‘Vidya Samiksha Kendra’. This Notification was published on 20.02.2024.

The Vidya Samiksha Kendra oversees multiple facets and data of numerous government schools throughout the state, such as student attendance, school management, and Gunotsav evaluations, all in real-time from a centralized location. This system has proven beneficial for students, parents, and teachers, leading to an enhancement in the quality of educational practices statewide. The visiting delegation, greatly impressed by its effectiveness, expressed keen interest in implementing a similar model in their respective countries. Chief Minister affirmed the state government’s readiness to extend the necessary cooperation for this endeavor.
