Gujarat CM Launches 337 Crore Development Initiatives

Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of the development projects including “Sauni Yojana” Link-4 Package 9 works worth ₹337.06 crore at Vinchhia in Rajkot. Addressing the event near the Marketing Yard of Vinchhiya, Chief Minister said that Prime consistent efforts to consider marginalized communities and integrate them into the mainstream through dedicated schemes. Prime Minister has designated four key demographics for development – the poor, youth, farmers, and women – to propel the nation towards becoming “Viksit” in “Amrit Kaal”. The Gujarat budget prioritizes the holistic advancement of these four demographics. This Notification was published on 16.02.2024.

He emphasized that the current opportunity presents a unique chance for comprehensive development, guiding these four demographics towards a fresh trajectory of advancement. Today’s allocation of ₹28.93 lakhs for equipment aiding 214 differently abled individuals and the provision of land grants for housing to 133 nomadic recipients showcases the government’s dedication to uplifting the economically disadvantaged. The establishment of a new ITI building valued at nine crores symbolizes a youth empowerment initiative aimed at offering job-centric education to young people through technical training. The inauguration of Package 9 of Link-4 of the “Sauni Yojana” at an expenditure of ₹181 crores underscores a commitment to improving irrigation facilities for farmers. Concurrently, the execution of the “Juth Pani Purvatha Yojana” at a cost of ₹139 crores is a concerted effort to address the water challenges faced by women in the region. The Gujarat administration operates in accordance with the principle of “Kahevu Te Karvu” (Deliver What You Promise) as espoused by the Prime Minister. It is noteworthy that a total of ₹337.06 crore worth of development projects were inaugurated in Vinchhiya on this day. This encompasses ₹181 crore worth of works under Link-4 of Package-9 of the Sauni Yojana aimed at supplying water to hinterland areas of Saurashtra, as well as ₹139 crore worth of projects under the Bhadla and Vinchiya Group Improvement – Juth Pani Purvatha Yojana. Additionally, significant infrastructure additions were announced, including a major bridge over the Ghelo River costing ₹5.15 crores, a new bus stand at Atkot valued at ₹2.11 crores, and the establishment of a new ITI at Vinchia with a budget of ₹9.01 crores.
