The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced an update regarding the eligibility for the Pradhan Mantri Scholarship for Pharmacy Post Graduate Studies (PMSPPS) for students who qualified the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). This circular was issued on February 13, 2025.
The PCI’s 122nd Executive Committee, in its meeting held on January 23, 2025, decided that students who meet the following criteria are eligible for the PMSPPS scholarship:
- Qualified the GPAT conducted by the AICTE through the NTA.
- Admitted to the M.Pharm course in the academic years 2022-2023 or 2023-2024.
- Hold a valid GPAT scorecard.
This decision clarifies the eligibility criteria for the scholarship and ensures that students who qualified the GPAT and gained admission to M.Pharm programs in the specified academic years are eligible to apply for the PMSPPS scholarship.
