The Central Government has proposed to amend the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950, to reflect the state code for Telangana. This draft amendment called the Indian Boiler (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 was issued on October 1, 2024.
The amendment seeks to replace the existing entry “Telangana TS” with “Telangana TG” in the regulation on engravings of registry plates of boilers. This change aligns the regulations with the official state code for Telangana.
Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Secretary, Central Boilers Board, Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade), Room No. 126A, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi- 110 011 or sent by email at Sandeep.kumbhar7@gov.in.
Such objections or suggestions shall be sent to the authority by November 15, 2024.
