The State Government of Tamil Nadu vide its Press Release dated 20th June 2020 has provided an online registration facility for unorganized workers to registers themselves in the unorganised labour welfare board.
There are 17 unorganised labour welfare boards under the department of labour, and the workers have to register themselves in person. However, due to the lockdown and in order to maintain social distancing, the Commissioner of Labour has implemented the online registration facility for the unorganized sector laborers to register themselves which can be accessed through https://labour.tn.gov,.in .
