The Government of Odisha through order dated 01.05.2021 has issued guidelines for containment of second wave of Covid-19 which shall be in force till 19.05.2021. The state shall remain in lockdown and following activities shall be prohibited:
- Buses and taxis for public transport
- Intra state movement of individuals
- Education and training
- Exhibitions, trade fairs and melas
- Cinema halls, malls, market complexes, gymnasiums, parks, bars and assembly halls.
- Social gatherings
- Places of worship
- Saloons, Spas and beauty parlors.
Marriages and funeral rites shall be conducted with less than 50 people following social distancing.
