The Government of Madhya Pradesh through circular dated 13 August, 2021 has amended the Madhya Pradesh Stamp Rules, 1942. The Rules enlists the entities that shall act as Ex-officio vendors in the state. The amendment provides that Ex-officio vendors under the rules shall include Banks, Financial Institutions, Post offices or such bodies where 51% shares are held by the central government or the state government.
