The Mizoram Epidemic Diseases (COVID 19) Regulations, 2020 has been laid down by the Government of Mizoram for prevention of COVID 19. These regulations shall be effective immediately.
The regulation defines the meaning of home quarantine and lays down the duties and responsibilities of hospitals while handling Coronavirus cases. It also regulates the spread of any form of information from any person/ organization/establishment which lack authentication or accuracy in any manner relating to Mizoram on COVID 19.
The regulations stipulate that any person found violating the regulations shall be deemed to be liable under section 188 of Indian Penal Code.
