The Government of Maharashtra through a notification dated 24.05.2021, informed the requirements for being eligible for the Scheme for Ex-Gratia one-time payment to Auto Rickshaw Permit Holder in view of Covid-19. The beneficiary should furnish proof of possession of Aadhaar number or undergo Aadhaar authentication. If they do not possess
Aadhaar card, they should apply for the same before applying for the Scheme. In case of failure to establish his/her identity by authentication or by furnishing proof of possession of Aadhaar number, the benefits can be granted based on other documents. The notification also stated that the Home Department through its Implementing Agency should make required arrangements to make the beneficiaries aware of the said requirements.
