General Holidays
These holidays will be observed across all government offices and institutions in Madhya Pradesh. The general holidays are mandatory for all state employees.
Public Holidays
The list of public holidays includes specific days when government offices and institutions will remain closed for the general public, in line with state and national observances.
Optional Holidays
In addition to general and public holidays, government employees are allowed up to three optional holidays from a list of 68 holidays. These optional holidays can be taken at the employee’s discretion, giving them the flexibility to choose holidays based on their personal preferences, provided that they do not exceed the three-day limit.
