The Government of Kerala vide press release dated 2nd August, 2023 has announced launching of new child helpline. The helpline can be used for obtaining advise and assistance to ensure safety of minors from all forms of crimes against child.
The press release also provides directions for guardians and educational institutions to provide education to children to ensure their safety against crimes. The press release announces that the government shall undertake further awareness and sex education programmes.
