The State Government of Kerala in its notification dated 20th May 2020 has formulated a special relief package for assisting the MSME sector to restart their business.
The special package of relief schemes and financial assistance for MSME under title ‘Vyavasaya Bhadhratha’ is launched. The major reliefs are detailed below:
- The financial burden on new investors shall be reduced by decreasing the payment of upfront lease premium and the new allotteess shall be allotted land by collecting upfront lease premium of only 20% and the balance shall be paid in 5 years’ time.
- Land premium for KSIDC and KINFRA parks is frozen for one financial year.
- Waiving off Standard Design Factories rentals and common facility charges for 3 months from March 2020 to May 2020.
- One time settlement policy provided for settling the loans given by KSIDC and full waiving off the interest accrued on CFC.
