The State Government of Karnataka on 24th July 2020 has reconsidered the fixed rates for RT-PCR and rapid antigen testing to be charged by the private laboratories and has issued the following revised rates.
The revised the rate of RT-PCR testing to cost Rs 2,000 per test and Rapid Antigen testing for private samples to cost Rs 700 per sample.
The ceiling rate for private samples in private laboratories including screening tests and the confirmatory test is priced at Rs. 3,000/- per test.
