Government of Karnataka issues SOP for interstate migrants workers coming into the state.

The State Government of Karnataka vide its circular dated 14th August 2020 has implemented a uniform Standard Operating Procedure for inter-state migrant workers.

All migrant workers shall after arrival be screened by a health team for COVID-19 symptoms like fever, cold, caught, throat pain, loss of taste etc and the persons testing positive shall undergo COVID-19 treatment as per the existing protocol.

All asymptomatic shall undergo RAT test and only those testing negative can report to work, however, they shall self-report any covid-19 symptoms during the next 14 days.

At the workplace there shall be daily thermal scanning and symptom screening of all workers at entry post and compulsory wearing of face mask, physical distancing of 2 meters, provision and use of soap and sanitizers shall be placed at different places.
