The Directorate of Industrial Safety and Health, Haryana on 27th April 2021 has extended the competency of already recoginzed competent person upto 30th June 2021 or till the date on which the occupational safety, health and working conditions code 2020 will come into force, whichever is earlier.
The competent person have been authorised to carry out the test, examination, inspection and certification for such buildings, dangerous machinery, lifts and hoist and other equipment’s in factories located in the state of Haryana.
The competent person shall procure all necessary facility and maintain same in good working order and shall maintain a logbook of day to day work done by him.
