The Government of Goa on 3rd January 2022 has approved the auto renewal of Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSSY) Card for the policy period for year 2022-2023. This step has been taken to prevent the common people facing any difficulty in renewing their cards, especially in view of the pandemic.
The DDSSY policy provides Universal Health Cover through Insurance for the Entire Resident Population of Goa. Benefits under this scheme will be provided on a cashless basis to the Beneficiaries upto the limit of their annual coverage, as per details as under:
• Cover of upto ‑ 2.5 lakhs per annum for a family of three or less members.
• Cover of upto ‑ 4 Lakhs for a family of four and more members.
Any person residing in the State of Goa for five years or more is declared eligible person under DDSSY. Family of eligible person is defined as his/her Spouse and Unmarried children and Dependent Parent(s) / In-Laws (In case eligible person is female).
