The Labour Department of Goa in its circular dated 4th February 2021 has decided to renew all the licenses except industrial licenses and occasional licenses for a period of 5 years under the ease of doing business reforms and to incentivize the licensee to opt for advance payment of license fees, a rebate of 5% on total license fees shall be given to the licence holders if he makes an advance payment of license fees for the next 3 years and a rebate of 10% would be granted for those making an advance payment for next 5 years.
Any enhancement in the renewal of license fee shall not be applicable to the holders who have paid the license fee in advance.
Therefore all officials are directed to maintain a record of all such advance renewal license separately and submit the report of the same to the head office every 15th and 30th or last day of the month till 31st March 2021.
