The Government of Goa through notification dated 4 February, 2021 has extended the due date to file return in Form VAT-III by a retail outlet, not owned by Oil Marketing Company, registered under the Goa Value Added Tax Act, 2005 and rules which have effected sales of High Speed Diesel Oil (HSD) and/or Motor Spirit (commonly known as petrol) including ethanol blended petrol purchased from dealers.
The return shall be filed within 60 days instead of 30 days from the end of the quarter. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2021.
