The transport Department, Government of Bihar, vide its Notification dated 1st June 2020 has extended the validity of late fee to renew fitness certificate till 30th September. Only those vehicles would avail its benefit which would be Fitness Fee defaulter till the date of publication of this notification in the Bihar Gazette.
The Government of Bihar in its earlier notification has decreased the late fee of 50 rupees for every day after the expiry of the fitness certificate, which was effective upto 12th February 2020. However due to Covid-19 Pandemic it has been extended from the date of publication of this notification in the Bihar Gazette upto 30th September 2020.
