FSSAI has published a letter on 4th May 2020 explaining the measures taken by FSSAI to combat Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure uninterrupted food supply during nationwide lockdown. It has issued directions to FBOs and governments to ensure safety of employees and consumers. It has also initiated training program to educate the industry regarding safety and social distancing measures.
