The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India through order dated 27 August, 2021 has clarified that in case of rejection of claims approval application under FSS(Advertising and Claims) Regulations, 2018, the FSSAI shall be the authority to whom appeal shall be filed. An appeal shall be filed to FSSAI within 30 days of issue of rejection letter.
