The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India vide circular dated 20 June, 2022 has operationalized the standards for Crude Corn(Maize Oil) provided under draft Food Safety and Standards (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2022.
The amendment provides specific standards for crude solvent extracted corn maize oil. These standards are enforced to allow import of rude solvent extracted corn maize oil by FBOs as per the Food Safety and Standards (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2022.
