The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued an additional order further extending the timeline for compliance with the requirement of the Health Certificate.
It may be recalled that the FSSAI had introduced the requirement of a Health Certificate for the import of Milk & Milk products, Fish & Fish products, and Pork & Pork Products by a order dated 3rd August, 2022.
Subsequently, the FSSAI issued an order dated 10th January, 2023 extending the timeline for compliance of this requirement to 1st March, 2023.
The present order further extends the timeline for compliance with the requirement of obtaining Health Certificates for the import of Milk & Milk products, Fish & Fish products, and Pork & Pork Products until further orders by the FSSAI.
