The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India vide its notification dated 24th May 2021 has decided to extend the auto generation policy of licenses and registration for manufactures/processors of standard food products under general manufacturing, dairy processing, vegetable oil processing, in case of non-response by the concerned authority within stipulated time.
The timeline for auto-generation of license and registration will be implemented from 1st May 2021.
The FSSAI in its earlier notification dated 7th January 2021 has directed the implementation of the Revised Policy for Auto-generation of License/Registration and Auto- Rejection of applications in case of Non-response within the stipulated time under FSS(Licensing and Registration of Food Businesses), Regulations, 2011.
