The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India through circular dated 12 March, 2021 has issued advisory regarding delay in processing of applications for renewal of the licenses. The circular advices authorities not to withhold applications for renewal of FSSAI licenses upon non-confirmation of receipt of annual return in Form D-1 & D-2 against the particular license. Queries regarding filing of annual return shall be done separately.
