The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has clarified its eligibility criteria for 9th Food Analyst Examination, 2023. This notice was issued on 10th July, 2023.
As per its previous criteria, the candidate should have possessed not less than 3 years’ experience in the analysis of food in any ISO: 17025 accredited food testing laboratory/research institutions/ research laboratory after attaining the minimum essential academic qualification specified above for 9th FAE.
Now by the present notice, the FSSAI has modified this criteria such that the candidate should possess not less than 3 years’ experience in the analysis of food. Such experience must be in any food testing laboratory/research institutions/ research laboratory after attaining the specified minimum essential academic qualification.
Hence, the FSSAI has done away with the requirement of the experience being limited to ISO: 17025 accredited labs/ institutions.
