Four Food Testing Labs Suspended by FSSAI for Six Months

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has taken strict action against four food testing laboratories, suspending their operations for a period of six months with immediate effect. This decision comes as per Regulation 10(2) read with clause (iii) of Regulation 10(1) of the Food Safety and Standards (Recognition and Notification of Laboratories) Regulations, 2018. This order was issued on March 25, 2025.

The following laboratories have been suspended:

1. Oasis Test House Limited, Jaipur (TC-6559) – FSSAI Registration No. 57/N/FSSAI/2019
2. Procomm Laboratory, National Bulk Handling Corporation Private Limited, Navi Mumbai (TC-9107) – FSSAI Registration No. 55/W/FSSAI/2021
3. Apex Testing and Research Laboratory, Delhi (TC-8463) – FSSAI Registration No. 45/N/FSSAI/2017
4. Kalyani Laboratories Private Limited, Bhubaneswar (TC-7043) – FSSAI Registration No. 6/E/FSSAI/2016
