The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India vide its notification dated 25th September 2020 has mandated the food safety officers to serve the notice in Form V A to the food business operators by clearly specifying the parameter to be tested. i.e as per the FSSAI standards for the specific products or any additional test if any to be performed.
As per rule2.4.1 of FSS Rules, 2011 it specifies the procedure to be followed by the food safety officer while taking a sample of food for analysis under clause A of subsection 38 and section 47 of FSS Act, 2006.
