The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India through circular dated 05 April, 2021 has clarified regarding operationalization of Food Safety and Standards (Licensing and Registration of Food Business) Amendment Regulations, 2020. The Food Business Operators shall start complying with these revised regulations but the enforcement of these regulations shall commence only upon gazette notification of final regulations.
