The Central Board of Direct Taxes on 28th March, 2022 has issued the Faceless Jurisdiction of Income tax Authorities Scheme, 2022. The scheme provides that vesting the jurisdiction with the Assessing Officer shall be in a faceless manner, through automated allocation.
