The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) vide notification dated August 23, 2022 has issued a notification regarding the extension of time to receive comments on the Consultation Paper on ‘Need for a new legal framework governing Telecommunication in India’. The new legal framework seeks to consolidate the existing laws and update them with due regard to changing technology dynamics and global best practices.
The department has decided to extend the date to receive comments till September 01, 2022. The comments can be sent on this email ID i.e. naveen.kumar71@gov.in.
