The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs issued two notifications on 11th May, 2019, G.S.R. 358(E) (No. 23/2019 ) and G.S.R. 359(E) (No. 24/2019) extending the date of filing FORM GSTR-1 and FORM GSTR-3B in Odisha. The extension has been given in 14 districts of Odisha affected by cyclone Fani.
GSTR-1
FORM GSTR-1 is filed by registered individuals who have an aggregate turnover of more than 1.5 crore rupees in the preceding financial year or the current financial year. For the month April, 2019 to June, 2019, GSTR-1 was to be filed till the eleventh day of the month succeeding such month.
By this amendment, registered individuals whose principal place of business is in the districts of Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh and Puri in the State of Odisha, can file GSTR-1 for the month of April, on or before the 10th June, 2019.
GSTR-3B
FORM GSTR-3B is filed declaring the summary of their inward and outward supplies. For the months from April, 2019 to June, 2019, GSTR-3B was to be filed on or before the twentieth day of the month succeeding such month.
The amendment, allows additional time for furnishing electronically the return in FORM GSTR-3B for the month of April by registered individuals whose principal place of business is in the districts of Angul, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Keonjhar, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh and Puri in the State of Odisha. The revised due date for filing GSTR-3B for the month of April, is on or before the 20th June, 2019.
