The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC) has announced extensions for filing quarterly and annual waste management reports for waste tyre and e-waste. Both these notices were issued on January 16, 2025.
This applies to entities registered under the following regulations:
- Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management & Transboundary Movement) Amendment Rules, 2022
- E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022
The deadline for filing reports for the financial year 2023-24 has been extended from January 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025. This extension applies to all registered entities on the Waste Tyre EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Portal or the E-Waste EPR Portal
Entities can continue filing quarterly and annual reports, and the EPR portal will facilitate generation and transfer of EPR certificates.
