ESIC has notified 1st February 2021 as the date on which the medical benefit under the ESIC rules made applicable.

The Employees State Insurance Corporation on 5^th February 2021, has notified regulation 95-A of the Employees’ State Insurance (General) Regulations, 1950 to be effective from 1^st February 2021 which deals with  Medical benefit to families of insured persons and the Tamil Nadu Employees’ State Insurance (Medical Benefit) Rules, 1955 shall be extended to the families of insured persons in the entire area of Dharmapuri and Ranipet districts in the State of Tamil Nadu, in addition to the already implemented area in the districts.
