ESIC approves payment of honorarium to the members of the Internal Complaints Committee on Sexual Harassment

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) via a circular dated 11.05.2021, approved payment of honorarium to the members of the Internal Complaints Committee on Sexual Harassment. The payment is for undertaking investigation into the complaints lodged with them or cases referred for investigation by the Committee. The external members may be paid Rs.2000 per sitting/hearing, and internal members may be paid Rs.1000. Maximum honorarium payable per case is Rs.10000 in the case of external members and Rs.5000 in the case of internal members.
